Privacy
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no fonts or scripts from third parties and embeds nothing. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only personal data involved is what you choose to send in an enquiry, and it is used to arrange your assessment.
Cookies and tracking
None. No first-party cookies, no third-party cookies, no local storage, no pixels, no tag manager, no embedded video or map. Every page is static HTML served from the site's own domain, with its stylesheet inlined. Nothing on a page contacts another company.
If measurement is added later it will be a cookieless, EU-hosted service that records no personal data, and this page will say so before it is switched on. Anything that required a consent banner would be a decision taken deliberately, not a side effect of adding a script.
Enquiries
The online enquiry form is not yet connected, so today an enquiry reaches us by telephone or by email. What you send is what you choose to send.
- Why. To answer you, to arrange your assessment, and to make the hotel and range bookings your attendance requires.
- Who sees it. Adrian van Well. Your name, date of birth, address and email address are passed to BASC and to Deer Management Qualifications, because the awarding body registers every candidate by name and date of birth and will not issue a certificate without them. Nothing else about you goes with that list.
- Where it is held. In the European Union. The candidate list itself goes to BASC in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission has ruled protects personal data to an equivalent standard.
- How long. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once the season they concerned has passed. Assessment records are kept as long as the awarding body requires, because your certificate depends on them.
- What is never done with it. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not passed to anyone else.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and complain to a supervisory authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Ask by telephone or in writing through thecontact page and you will get an answer within a month.
Hosting and logs
The site is static and served from an EU region. The host keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period for security and diagnostics. Those logs are not used to build a picture of visitors and are not combined with anything else.
